Terms of service

About us. This website is operated by Lumière Lux, a South African retailer of luxury candles and candle accessories, at 6 Smit St, Heidelberg, Gauteng, 1441. By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these terms.

Products and pricing. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). The price you see is the price you pay: no VAT or sales tax is added at checkout. Prices may change without notice, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. Product photos are styled to show each piece at its best; small variations in colour and finish are normal.

Orders and payment. Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card details. An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example for suspected fraud, a pricing error or a stock problem, and will refund any amount already paid in full.

Candle safety. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, drafts and anything flammable, and follow the care instructions supplied. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by unsafe use.

Returns and delivery. Our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy form part of these terms.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot be excluded.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
